Belcher and Ross formed BRB Code Educators Inc. to provide educational seminars on a variety of building code and related issues, including the Florida Building Code.

Belcher and Ross actively participated in the development of the new Florida Building Code and are extremely knowledgeable about its technical details.

Joe Belcher, President of JDB Code Services, brings many years of experience as a code official and consultant in the construction industry
working with Fire Codes, Codes and Standards, Mansonry/Concrete, Hurricane Protection, Product Approval, and Code Development. Belcher
has been the recipient of many awards throughout the years, including the Alton T Riddick, PE Award; Several President's Awards; and the Corporate award for FC&PA. Belcher is best known for his knowledge of and no-
nonsense approach to the Florida Building Code. Students walk away
amazed at the knowledge and depth of understanding Mr. Belcher is able
to extend to his audiences.

Lorraine Ross, President of Intech Consulting, Inc. has been involved in all aspects of the building products industry: manufacturing, technical
service, regulatory issues including building code development and
compliance and testing laboratory experience. As president of Intech
Consulting, Inc. she is noted for her skill in the development of successful strageties that provide responsible, commen sense, reality based responses
to the regulatory pressures placed on the construction industry. For the
past three years, she has managed the Florida Building Code Alliance, an
ad hoc group of building product trade associations and companies, which
has been involved in the development of the Florida Building Code. She has
served on the Roofing Technical Advisory Committee for the Florida
Building Commission. Ross holds a BS in Chemistry and an MA (Thesis
Program) in Biochemistry, earned at the University of Scranton.

Belcher and Ross will continue to operate their individual consulting companies in addition to their responsibilities with BRB Code Educators.
